The fourth single from the Soft Cell boys, and a love letter from Marc Almond to all those songstresses in seedy bars from the 50s and 60s.
The extended version takes the single mix and adds on a superb, seemingly touching rap exchange with the guy’s dealer in New York, a certain Cindy Ecstacy. The track reached number 2 in the UK singles charts. Originally intended to a double-A side single with Insecure Me.
